A global league, played locally
The Five Iron Summer Series is a brand event that runs across every Five Iron location worldwide. When you compete at Five Iron Dubai, you are on the same courses, in the same formats, tracked on the same leaderboard as players in New York, Chicago, and every other Five Iron city. The International Championship at the end of August is exactly what it sounds like: the top teams from each location going up against each other for the overall title.
For Dubai specifically, the timing could not be better. July and August are the months when outdoor golf goes quiet and the heat makes anything beyond an early morning round a serious undertaking. The Summer Series gives you a reason to keep competing through the summer, in an air-conditioned environment on Trackman simulators, playing courses you might never get to in real life. The global context makes it something more than a local league to pass the time.
How the format works
Teams of two compete across six weeks, with each week featuring a different course and a different format, a rotation of scramble and strokeplay to test both sides of your game. You pick a two-hour slot that works for you each week, join your round through the Tournaments tab on Trackman, and the scoring is handled automatically. No scorecards, no disputes, everything tracked live.
The best four of your six weekly scores count toward your final standing. That structure matters. It means one bad week, or even a week you miss entirely, doesn't end your season. You can reach out to reschedule if something comes up, or simply play a different slot in that week. The league is designed to be competitive without being punishing.

Entry is 300 AED per person, 600 AED per team. If you don't have a Trackman handicap yet, there's a free optional Handicap Week running July 6 to 12, a 9-hole strokeplay round that sets your number before the league begins. Solo players can also be matched with a partner if you're entering without one.

The Open Week and Play Like a Pro Week are exactly what they sound like. Mountain Week and Casa de Campo Week put you on courses most people will never get to in real life. Go Low Week is the one where the format rewards aggression. Each week has its own character, which keeps the season from feeling repetitive.
Three leaderboards
The season runs three simultaneous leaderboards. Net is adjusted using Trackman handicaps, making it genuinely competitive regardless of playing level. Gross is raw scores, no adjustments. The Women's Gross leaderboard runs the same courses and formats but is for all-women teams only.
If a team tops more than one leaderboard, they are placed on the Gross board and the next team fills their Net spot. That rule keeps the prizes clean and means more teams have a realistic shot at winning something.
What's at stake
Every week brings Closest to the Pin prizes. At the end of the regular season, the top teams on each leaderboard win local prizes. Then comes the International Championship, running August 24 to 30.
The top two local teams on each leaderboard qualify automatically. The top ten teams internationally also advance. Win the International Championship and the prize is a trip to Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic, one of the finest golf resorts in the world and the course that gives Week 4 its name.
That is a significant prize. Casa de Campo is not a consolation trip. It's the kind of destination that serious golfers put on a list and wait years to get to. Winning it by coming out on top of a global competition, from a simulator in Dubai, would be a story worth telling.
How to enter
Contact us to register. Teams must be signed up and entry paid before the season begins. If you need a handicap, come in during Handicap Week from July 6 to 12 and we'll get you set before Week 1 kicks off.
The season starts July 13. There are not many better ways to spend a Dubai summer than on a Trackman simulator competing for a trip to the Caribbean.
